Soundear4 Industrial Noise Monitoring

Industrial Noise Monitoring Made Visible

SoundEar4-410 and SoundEar4 XL combine continuous noise measurement with immediate green, yellow and red visual feedback.

Monitor noise where it occurs, store measurement data automatically and choose the workflow that fits your site – standalone, locally connected or with SoundEar Cloud.

  • Real-time visual feedback

See the noise. Measure it. Document what happens over time.

Noise in production areas is difficult to manage when employees and safety teams only see the result after a survey or report.

SoundEar4 makes the current sound level visible in the workplace while continuously recording measurement data in the background.

The clear green, yellow and red indication gives immediate feedback when selected thresholds are reached. Historical data can then be reviewed to identify patterns, assess changes and support ongoing noise-management work.

SoundEar4 is designed for fixed-location area monitoring. It supports workplace noise management but does not replace personal exposure measurements where these are required.

Two industrial models. One monitoring platform.

Choose the format that fits the area and the visibility you need. Both models provide continuous monitoring, visual indication, internal logging, integrated Wi-Fi and Modbus TCP.

From instant awareness to documented noise data

01 Visualise

Make changing noise levels visible immediately.

The visual display translates measured sound levels into clear green, yellow and red feedback based on the selected thresholds.

Employees do not need to read a sound-level report to understand that conditions have changed.

02 Monitor

Measure continuously in the area that matters.

SoundEar4 is designed for continuous fixed-location monitoring in production areas, workshops and other industrial zones.

Measurement data is stored automatically, creating a consistent record of changing sound conditions over time.

03 Document

Use historical data to understand patterns and changes.

Review recorded data to identify recurring high-noise periods, compare operating conditions and document whether noise-management measures have changed the acoustic environment.

04 Integrate

Connect noise data to your existing setup.

Integrated Wi-Fi and Modbus TCP support connected industrial workflows. Local and standalone options remain available when Cloud access is not required.

05 Configure

Adapt thresholds and display behaviour to the workplace.

SoundEar4 supports configurable alarm thresholds and display settings, including scheduled day and night settings where different operating conditions require different visual limits or brightness.

Use SoundEar4 your way.

The monitoring hardware is not dependent on one data workflow. Choose the setup that fits the customer’s IT requirements and the purpose of the installation.

Standalone

Operate the device locally with internal logging and direct data access. This is suitable when the customer wants continuous monitoring without relying on Cloud access.

Connected locally

Use Modbus TCP to integrate SoundEar4 measurement data into supported local network or monitoring environments.

SoundEar Cloud

Add remote overview, historical data, alerts, reporting and online device management across one or many measuring points.

Cloud access is optional. The SoundEar4 hardware can still be used in standalone or local workflows.

SoundEar Cloud

Turn continuous measurements into remote overview and actionable reporting.

SoundEar Cloud gives safety teams and other authorised users remote access to connected measuring points.

Use the platform to review historical measurement data, receive alerts, generate reports and manage devices without being physically present at each location.

New SoundEar4 devices include 3 months of SoundEar Cloud access.

Before the included access expires, the customer receives a reminder. Continued access can be purchased when needed. There is no automatic payment and no automatic renewal.
